Rest, Nutrition, Exercise

These are three very important parts of a healthy life that we need to keep track of and make sure that we have enough of each. Everyone needs a balance between these three aspects.

Rest
When someone doesn’t get enough rest, you are more vulnerable in getting sick, short of patience and having mood swings. Common problems are colds, migraines, weight problems and body pains.
Most people don’t get the amount of sleep that they need due to activities such as school or work. The average amount of sleeping time you should be from around 9 to 10 hours.

Nutrition
The foods you eat provide the energy your body needs to function. Your body needs to be fed energy-providing goods every day. The main form of energy for your body is carbohydrates. Your body has the easiest time digesting carbohydrates like sugar and starch. Carbohydrates are broken down into individual glucose, fructose or galactose units. Glucose if your body’s favorite form of energy.
Protein in the foods you eat is broken down into individual amino acids. Your body uses the amino acids to build and repair the various parts of your body. Your muscles contain lots of protein, and you need to replenish that protein through your diet. Your body also needs protein for components of your immune system, hormones, nervous system, and organs.

Good nutrition provides more than energy, structural components, vitamins and minerals.
Antioxidants help protect your body from damage that comes from the sun, pollution, smoke, and poor dietary choices. They are found in the phytochemicals of fruits and vegetables, as well as some vitamins and amino acids.

Exercise
If you don't use your body, you will surely lose it. Your muscles will become flabby and weak. Your heart and lungs won't function efficiently. And your joints will be stiff and easily injured.
Helps Prevent Diseases
Your body is meant to move and they actually crave exercise if you aren’t getting enough or any of it. Regular exercise is necessary for physical fitness and good health, reducing the risk of heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, etc. It can also improve your appearance and delay the aging process
Improves Stamina
When exercising, your body uses energy to keep going by training you body to become more efficient and use less energy for the same amount of work. As your conditioning levels improve, your heart rate and breathing rate will return to resting rates sooner.
Strengthens and Tones
Exercising with weights and other forms of resistance training develops your muscles, bones and ligaments that will increase strength and endurance. Your posture can be improved and muscles become more firm and toned, looking and feeling better.
Controls Weight
It is the key to weight control because it burns calories. If you burn off more calories than you take in, you lose weight.
Improves Quality of Life
One you being to exercise regularly, you will discover many more reasons why exercise is so important in improving the quality of your life. It will reduce stress, lift moods and help you sleep better. It can also keep you looking and feeling younger throughout your entire life.
